I have been grinding my own drill bits for years to get the best geometry and sharpness for the specific needs of chairmaking. Soon, I will be offering sets of bits, made from High Speed Steel, that can enter at extreme angles and leave clean exit holes.
I would like to make similar small bits for entering work at odd angles. Where is the best place to start??
